Hello, I’m Kate - the designer and maker behind Kate Phipps Jewellery.

Jewellery can hold meaning in quiet, powerful ways – a small object that carries memory, feeling, and significance. If you're looking for something personal – beautifully made and a little out of the ordinary – you're in the right place. Whether you're celebrating a milestone, gifting with intention, or indulging in something just for you, I’m so glad you’re here.

I’ve been running my handmade jewellery business for over 10
years, but my love for jewellery began long before that. What started as a fascination has become a deeply personal craft - one that allows me to create with meaning, intention and care. For me, jewellery is a way to tell stories and forge lasting connections.

I design and make every piece by hand in my studio, using a mix of traditional techniques – like stone setting and metal forming – and modern tools such as laser cutting, CAD software and 3D printing. I work with recycled precious metals, gemstones, pearls and beads to create jewellery that’s contemporary, refined and wearable. This combination of old and new methods allows me to work with precision while keeping the entire process personal, thoughtful and hands-on.

My designs often feature clean lines, softened geometric shapes and subtle natural influences. I want each piece to feel timeless - something you’ll love wearing now, and that can be passed on in the future. My hope is that these become future heirlooms: pieces that carry memories and meaning from one generation to the next.

I also offer bespoke commissions, including engagement and wedding rings, or remodelling sentimental jewellery into something new. These
collaborations - especially those that honour personal stories - are some of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

Thank you for visiting, and for supporting handmade jewellery. If you'd like to talk about a commission or have any questions, I’d love to hear from you.
